I'm still learning cPanel and thought I had directed the backups to backup daily. It's a little frustrating that there isn't a "backup now" button. I'm sure there is another way to do this. I don't have the answer; but, will post if I find it.
Found this from the cPanel site

I've skimmed through this .pdf:

http://www.cpanel.net/docs/seminar07/Backups_and_Transfers.pdf

and did this:

/scripts/cpbackup --force

and am now waiting. I know I should do this to a remote location, I'll tackle that soon.

You really shouldn't need to use the backup feature in cPanel on a VPS. VPSs are backed up daily using our backup software, and there is a backup feature available for you to maanage additional backups as part of the Virtouzzo virtualization software as well, so adding cPanel backups is just creating a 3rd backup copy and will probably cause you some space issues, whereas our backups and the virtuozzo backups do not count against your allocated space. You can manage the virtuozzo backups for your VPS, including restores from those backups via the Virtuozzo Power Panel. Just open a browser and point to https://<your_ip_address>:8443 and login with your root user and password. From there you will see the link for backups.

Unfortunately full Virtuozzo backups are limited to one per VE; and these are managed by our backup auditing team. So you most likely will not be able to manage backups through the Virtuozzo interface.

However you can rest assured that we are backing up your server with nightly incremental backups, and weekly full backups.
