I want to connect the LANs from 2 offices together using VPN which currently have 2 different workgroups and 2 different subnets.

Office 1 is comprised of a W2000 Pro Workstation to share files and W98 SR2 pcs, Office 2 uses an NT4 Sp6a Workstation to share files and NT4 Sp6a and XP Pro Sp1 pcs. Due to workstations only the LANs are only using workgroups and not domains.

Would this be achievable using the existing equipment, or would I need to equip both offices with a proper 'server' ?
