My computer is connected wirelessly via a linksys 2.4Ghz 802.11g antennae to a Linksys router downstairs which is connected to a cable modem.
What I would like to do is plug my video game system into my computer and use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). So that I can get online with it. I have a crossover cable, and it's reading that the cables are connected, but it's just not getting though for some reason. I've been trying to get it to work with a laptop plugged into my desktop, but it still isn't working. The laptop says it's connected, and it's sending packets, it just isn't receiving any. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm curious to know if it is even possible to connect my game system this way. |

Any reason you can't connect your game system directly into the router (wired or wirelessly)? Personally I've never used ICS especially since routers are so cheap these days
